University of Dundee has invited applications for the recruitment of Post doctoral Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Dr. Mahima Swamy to study the functions of intraepithelial lymphocytes in intestinal infections. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to undertake exciting and cutting-edge research aimed at understanding the functions of, and signalling pathways used by intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes. The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust and Royal Society, through a Sir Henry Dale fellowship award to Dr. Swamy.
Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Assistant – Intestinal Immune Responses to Infection
Job Location: Dundee, Scotland
- PhD (or final stages of PhD) in a relevant biological subject with research experience in immunology and in vivo models.
- Strong academic track record with at least one good quality first author publication or manuscript under review.
- Ability to work independently and be pro-active, and capable of interacting well within a group.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
Salary: £31,604 to £38,833 per annum (grade 7).
