National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) is an autonomous institution aided by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The Institute’s establishment coincides with the 50th anniversary of India’s independence as well as birth anniversary of Prof. (Dr.) J. C. Bose. NIPGR is poised to contribute towards frontier areas of Plant Biology such as, Computational Biology, Genome Analysis and Molecular Mapping, Molecular Mechanism of Abiotic Stress Responses, Nutritional Genomics, Plant Development and Architecture, Plant Immunity, Molecular Breeding, Transgenics for crop improvement and other emerging areas based on plant genomics.
National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) is inviting applications from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of One Senior Research Fellow in the DBT- IYBA project entitled “Drought and wilt disease causing pathogen interaction in tomato plants: dissecting molecular responses using VIGS”, under the supervision of Dr. Senthil Kumar Muthappa, Scientist, NIPGR.
Job Title: NIPGR – Sr. Research Fellow
Job Location: New Delhi
Educational Qualification: M.Sc./ M.Tech degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with at least 60% marks or equivalent in master degree
Years of Experience: 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience
