Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Institution of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. IPC is created to set standards of drugs in the country. Its basic function is to update regularly the standards of drugs commonly required for treatment of diseases prevailing in this region. It publishes official documents for improving Quality of Medicines by way of adding new and updating existing monographs in the form of Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP). It further promotes rational use of generic medicines by publishing National Formulary of India.journalban

Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) has invited applications for the position of Pharmacovigilance Associate from the best knowledgeable professionals on Contract basis through Manpower systems, (M/s Promind Solutions Pvt Ltd.)

Job Title: Pharmacovigilance Associate

Job Location: IPC, Ghaziabad and anywhere in India

Total No of Posts: 14

Educational Qualification: Pharm. D / M. Pharm/ BDS /MBBS from a recognized University Or candidate with Post Graduate degree in the relevant field

Years of Experience: 1-year experience in Pharmacovigilance/ Pharmacovigilance Programme of India.

Desirable: 1-year relevant work experience in handling clinical/ Pharmacovigilance data. Proficiency in Computer Applications.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collection of ADR Reports.
  • Follow up with the reporter/patient for Completeness as per SOPs.
  • Data Entry in VigiFlow.
  • Reporting to NCC-PvPI through VigiFlow with the source data (Original) attached each ADR case.
  • Training/Sensitization/Feedback to physicians through newsletter circulated by the NCC-PvPI.Peerscientist
  • Other activities as assigned by competent authority time to time.
