Institute of Life Sciences is an autonomous institute of higher education for research and education in life sciences in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It was established by the Government of Odisha in 1989. Its administrative control was taken over by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the position of Research Associate to join the research projects under the PI: “Dr. Santosh Chauhan”, PhD, Scientist D, ILS Bhubaneswar.
Job Title: Research Associate

- “Understanding the role of IRGM-mediated innate immune response in diseases”
- “Crosstalk between autophagy and cellular inflammation”
Educational Qualification: Ph. D. in Biotechnology or Life Sciences.
- Candidate should be very well versed in basic cell biology and molecular biology techniques Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques and cell biology techniques is highly desirable.
- Candidates having experience in handling mice and candidates having first author publication in the peerreviewed journal in above subject areas will be given preference.
