Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) commonly known as Pusa Institute is India’s premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension. Situated in Delhi, it is financed and administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The IARI was responsible for the research leading to the “Green Revolution in India” of the 1970s.
Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has invited applications for the recruitment Sr. Research Fellow under Outreach Project: “Diagnosis and management strategies for virus and virus like diseases of crop” – Up to 31st March 2018 but likely to continue till March 2019. This post is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project.
Job Title: Sr. Research Fellow
Job Location: IARI, New Delhi.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years of bachelor degree or candidates having PG degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor degree and 2 years of Masters degree should have qualified NET.
Experience: Desirable experience in plant virology & molecular / serological techniques
SRF@ Rs. 25000/- +30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year
SRF@ Rs. 28000/- +30% HRA for 3rd year
