Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) is one of the research institutes under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi to serve as the nodal agency for catering to the needs of the brackishwater aquaculture research in India. The institute is headquartered at Santhome High Road, Raja Annamalai Puram, Chennai with a research centre at Kakdwip in West Bengal and an experimental field station at Muttukadu, roughly 30 km to the south of Chennai. The institute works under the Ministry of Agriculture, India.
ICAR – CIBA has invited applications for the recruitment of Sr. Research Fellow on temporary basis under the under the funded project “ICAR-Consortium Research Platform on Genomics” and “Poverty alleviation through prevention and future control of the two major socioeconomically-important diseases in Asian aquaculture” of this institute.

Post graduate degree in Life Sciences / Marine Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Bioinformatics with NET qualification and two years of experience.
Post Graduate Degree in Professional course (MFSc, MTech, MVSc) in relevant subjects
Desirable: Candidates having working knowledge in bioinformatics techniques and molecular biology will be preferred.
Salary: Rs.25000/- per month + HRA
Age Limit: 35 years for Men 40 years for Women
